Food presentation is beautiful, but the food is very bland and tasteless. Whoever cooks needs to practice using seasonings. I can make better refried beans!

Lovely spot for lunch, sitting on the patio with a nice breeze coming in off the lake. Really nice chips and salsa. I had an excellent pastor burrito (the green sauce was a bit tart for my taste, next time I'll go with red). My wife gobbled up her taco salad and said the shell was one of the best she's ever had. We'll be back some day.

Food was good but it took about an hour for our food to come out. Service was extra slow even tho they weren't that packed.

Favorite restaurant in town the enchiladas are great and plates are of good portion! Compliant with Coronavirus (outdoor seating) and the managers are friendly too.

We just moved to Crestline and we really like the food here. Unfortunately, the service just isn't there. It takes the waiters a long time to take your order and even longer to get your food. It seems the restaurant is more focused on call in orders rather than it's customers in the resteraunt. With a little more direction this place would be absolutely perfect. We are within walking distance and today was the first time we walked out because we waited to long. Sad part, wasn't even busy. They had 4 tables seated. I will come back and give it one more shot.

The food was great! But reason I only gave 3 stars is the customer service. We went in last night near closing. We were unable to sit so ordered to take home which was fine we ordered tacos. After ordering and paying the young man in Spanish starts telling the young woman that he did not charge me the Taco Tuesday price but instead full price because it was closing time. Yes I may be a white woman with light hair and light eyes but I do understand and speak spanish. I was appalled by his actions and the comments he continued to make. Not wanting any spit in my food I did not say anything (my wrong I guess) but continued to watch him waste beer and serve over frothed beer. May want to order bottled just saying. Hopefully he sees this message and realizes his wrong. Just because a person isn’t Hispanic doesn’t mean they don’t understand the language. That is not the way to do business mostly in a small town like Lake Gregory

there carnitas is Quite dry and hard shell taco had berly any lettuce or tomato or sour cream

Very authentic. I'm part Mexican and it really felt like I was eating an authentic at home cooked meal. Lots of vegetarian options and big portions. I opted for the spinach mushroom enchiladas, amazing!

The staff here was really friendly, prompt, and helpful. We also all enjoyed the food. The beans were fresh and creamy and the rice nicely seasoned. The tamale had nicely seasoned pork and moist Masa. The relleno wasn't over cheesed as some are. Both sauces were lovely.

Great view, good food, limited parking

This was the absolute worst Mexican I've ever had. I'm not sure if the food was geared more to local taste but this is not Mexican food. Taste was bland and disgusting. They even found a way to mess up something as simple as salsa. The guac was nasty. Beautiful views, they have beer. Those are the only positives.

Food was great the view was great but the best was the customer service. You feel welcomed and they are extremely accommodating. The servings are huge very much worth the price and some, will be returning at least once a month with my family.

Prices are high. Food was pretty good. Nice mexican restaurant in a small mountain town. It is located right beside the lake. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is phenomenal.

Best food in crestline, and one of the kindest staff.

Great food a little pricey but worth it

Typical California Mexican food, but for being in the mountains it was pretty good. Service was prompt and good. Food was fresh and hot. I would eat here again. Only down fall was all the loud mouth, know it all locals. You live in the mountains, you know nothing of real life down the hill.......

Have indoor & outdoor seating! The view of Lake Gregory is amazing & the decor is very charming, both indoors & outdoors! The servers are fast & friendly!I usually order food a la carte because I think their combination plates are overpriced... Breakfasts are good! Deserts are delicious! So if you want to enjoy an amazing view of Lake Gregory & have decent Mexican food, go here but don’t expect it to be amazing...

Delicious! Specially in Crestline right across from the lake. You have your choice of sitting outside to enjoy that view or dining inside. I ordered the Chicken Taquitos with Spanish Rice, and a side kick mixed drink, 'La Fruta,' your choice of flavor so I choose peach. Service is fantastic, the atmosphere is great with Spanish decor, definitely a place to dine, great prices for great portions, highly recommended.

Food used to be great, but not now. Last time I went my husband got the wrong meal and my food was cold. We've been going for years, but we won't be back anymore.

I will definitely frequent this place. Everything is delicious and made to order so my plate is always coming fresh and hot out the kitchen. Staff is very comforting. The jamaica and horchata is freshly brewed and not by machines. I always order something to go so I can have some for later.

Not only did I have to wait for about 25 minutes before deciding to leave. The fact that they took two other orders before mine just because I look young isn't okay. They weren't busy at all there was 2 families 1 person eating alone and they took two people who showed up after me and took their order no problem. Which is very disrespectful I just wanted to order food really quick to go but apparently that was such an issue they couldn't take my order. Poor customer service.

They have the fluffiest tamales in the world. And I got to watch the lake while I ate.

The food is always great!! I recomend Tonies to every guest that visits The North Shore Inn. I love love love this place. The most friendly people work here and the aumbionce is unlike anyother Crestline has to offer. With lake views and outside patio and an inside inclosed patio. There Margaritas are to die for and you will be happy you went. Dont hesitate or debate Tonies is the place to eat. You might even make it your favorite.

Autintic and awesome tasting food. You must try

We had four people in our party and everybody received their meals at different times and when we needed condiments we had to wait another 10 minutes actually happening to chase down the server. Most of all they are preparing some floors and they had the guys with floor sanders grinding the floors creating dust while people were eating you could barely hear yourself thinking.

Best place I've eaten at in Crestline so far! The menu is huge with jaw-dropping diversity. Staff is friendly and attentive. Everything is tasty and spot on - including their 'Lobster Tacos'! WOW! Indoor and outdoor seating with wonderful views of the Lake and oversees the busiest intersection in Crestline. Great decor and ambience and most authentic South of the Border cuisine imaginable! I absolutely love this place!
